Herman, Herman & Katz is proud to announce its sponsorship and support of the Hogs For The Cause annual charity event at City Park’s Festival Grounds. Hogs For The Cause is a non-profit organization that hosts this annual music and food festival to raise money for pediatric brain cancer care. Funds raised by the organization provide aid and relief for expenses and economic burdens which families face while their child is being treated for pediatric brain cancer.
This weekend (Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th), over 80 teams will compete by cooking their best pork based recipes in the hopes of becoming crowned the Louisiana pork champion. Attendees help choose the winners by donating to their favorite team by sampling their food.
HHK attorney and neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph Kott, is very familiar with the struggles these families have to endure: “Commonly, they face enormous financial challenges at a time when emotional and familial pressures are greatest.” HHK is honored to be a part of this home grown charity in helping these families at their time of need. On Saturday, October 18th, the HKGC Krewe continued our annual tradition of volunteering with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity at the 2025 Bench and Bar Build.
The Krewe of Muses is well known for its humorous and infamously satirical themed floats, the elaborate costumes of its riders, and, of course, the highly sought-after parade throw: custom-decorated shoes that are hand-crafted by the riders.

On Thursday, February 23, 2023, Herman, Herman & Katz donated school and office supplies to ReNEW Schools.
