On June 5, 2026, HKGC Partner Brian Katz had the opportunity to be a speaker at the 2026 LSBA Annual Meeting & Joint LJC/LSBA Summer School in Destin, Florida where he participated in a panel discussion called the “Great Debate – Tort Reform Revisited” along with Kellen Mathews from Adams & Reese and moderated by Graham Ryan of Jones Walker.
The session covered the tort reform efforts of the Louisiana Legislature over the last six years and the practical effects for lawyers and whether those efforts will lead to reduced insurance premiums.
The firm was honored to take part in this program and engage with colleagues on these issues shaping the future of the legal industry.
