On Sunday, March 22, 2015, Herman, Herman & Katz competed in the 13th Annual New Orleans Bar & Grille Cook-Off. This is a charity event sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association to help raise money for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, a nonprofit corporation that serves individuals and families who, without legal assistance, would lose a critical human need – food, shelter, income, medical care, personal safety or parental care. The event was held in the Peristyle in New Orleans City Park.
Our team of talented amateur cooks prepared Cuban sandwiches and fried chocolate tres leches cake. They won third place in the “Best Dessert” competition. Staff, family and friends all came out to support our team and such a great cause.
