On Thursday, February 23, 2023, Herman, Herman & Katz donated school and office supplies to ReNEW Schools. ReNEW Schools is a charter management organization in New Orleans that works with schools that have been identified as the lowest performing public schools in New Orleans. They make staffing, culture, academic, and operational changes for the benefit the schools and for the students’ greater academic achievement.

These supplies will go to the various schools that ReNEW is currently working with, and the attorneys and staff at HHK appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community and especially to our local schools.
We were delighted to meet with Damitria Santiago, the Executive Director of Operations, and Jassman Claybrooks, the School Operations Manager at ReNEW Lauren Elementary to make the supplies donation. Damitria said that the best part of getting these supplies is that any money they would have had to spend on the them is now going to go back into the schools. We at HHK are honored to make that difference.
