At the gala, lawyers, judges, and professors gather from across the state to support the LBF’s mission to preserve, honor, and improve our system of justice by funding, developing, or otherwise promoting efforts which enhance the legal profession, increase public understanding of the legal system, and advance the reality of equal justice under the law.
This year’s Distinguished Honorees are Judge Carl J. Barbier, Gordon L. James, and Dian Tooley-Knoblett. East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar C. Moore III is the recipient of the Calogero Justice Award.
