On February 22, 2022, HKGC Partner Steve Herman will participate in a CLE presentation of The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association on “Harvard Admission Standards: Constitutional or Not?” The program features a mock oral argument of Students for Fair Admissions v. Pres. and Fellows of Harvard College which is currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Herman along with Kim Boyle of Phelps Dunbar will present arguments to judges from the state and federal courts regarding the constitutionality of the Harvard admissions process.
The presentation will be from 3:00-5:00 pm at the United States District Court in New Orleans on 500 Poydras St. in Room C501. The program is free for all interested participants. Registration is required. There will be a reception immediately following.
