It is the tradition of the firm for the staff to choose a local charity and for everyone to donate to the charity rather than giving gifts to each other. This philanthropic gesture not only embodies the true essence of the season but also highlights Herman, Herman & Katz’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
Son of a Saint is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing mentorship, education, and support to fatherless young boys. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these young individuals, the organization aims to empower them with the skills and guidance necessary to become future leaders in the community.
HHK Partner Soren Gisleson said, “We believe in the power of mentorship and education to transform lives. Son of a Saint is doing incredible work, and we are honored to contribute to their mission. This holiday season, we want to bring smiles to the faces of these young boys and provide them with the tools they need to build a brighter future.”
The Son of a Saint facility has a sign that says, “If you love New Orleans, invest in its future.” HHK hopes that the positive impact of such initiatives reverberates far beyond the holiday season and into a better and brighter future for everyone.
